Sublimation is different from printing on top — the ink becomes part of the material itself, which is why it never peels, cracks, or fades.
Sublimation dye is printed onto transfer paper, then bonded to the substrate using high heat and pressure. The dye converts to gas and bonds with polymer molecules in the material.
Sublimation works best on white or light-coloured polyester-coated or polymer substrates. We'll let you know if your item is compatible before you order.

Sublimation works best on white or very light-coloured substrates. On dark items, the colours won't show up correctly. If you have a dark item in mind, UV printing may be a better option — ask us and we'll recommend the right service.
